+++ Expression Tag +++: In a document, calculation is separated from the text with a tag at the begining and another tag at the end. Default begin tag is [' and end tag is ']
+++ Expression Tag +++: You can define your own expression tags in a document. Write "_doc:" (without the quotes) at the very first line of the document. For example, _doc: _begin<x>; _end</x> will define your begin tag as <x> and end tag as </x>.
+++ Expression Tag +++: You can quickly apply begin and end tags to the selection. Select an expression and press XB or XE button on Dicom calculator or press F4.
+++ Startup Mode +++: Dicom can be started with 3 pre-defined modes and 1 user-defined mode. Select "File menu/Preferences menu/Mode settings tab" and choose from "Startup mode" and click on "Apply button".
+++ Startup Mode +++: Dicom "Tray Only" mode is convenient, when you want to use Dicom calculator or converter as and when necessary, while you are working in other application. From "File/Preferences..." menu you can select startup mode.

+++ Keyword Check +++: You can press F2 to check the symbol at the cursor position within an expression in a document.
+++ Keyword Check +++: F6 toggles keyword checking on or off.
+++ Standard Size +++: Dicom calculator, converter, and explorer change to the nearest standard size as you double click any free area on their forms.
+++ Context Menu +++: Dicom calculator, converter, explorer, and document have context menus. Just click on the right mouse button.
+++ Number Base +++: Dicom recognizes integer numbers of any base ranging from binary (base 2) to base 36. Default is obviously decimal (base 10). To specify a base prefix a number with "0b<base value>:". For example, to represent hexadecimal (base 16) numbers use "0b16:" as the prefix, such as 0b16:FF.
+++ Document +++: You can edit and compute document in dicom upto 64 KB size, but there is no limitation on size to view a doument.
+++ Document +++: Dicom document can be plain text (TXT) or rich text (RTF) formatted. So, you can view/edit Dicom input/output in any word processor that supports these format. MS-Word and Word-Pad both support RTF and TXT format.
+++ Document +++: In a Dicom document you can write text and expression together. Expressions are separated from text by begin and end tag (usually [' and ']). Dicom calculates when it see any expression and output any other text as it is formatted or unformatted.
