There are very convenient to use mouse wheel to view a drawing.
Rotate the wheel to zoom in/out.
Press the wheel and move a mouse to move a drawing in a window.

You can use arrow keys to move a drawing in a window.
You can use +/- keys (additional keypad) to zoom in/out.
*
Press <Esc> key to unselect all objects and cancel current command.
*
You can press <Shift> or <Ctrl> key during Move, Rotate, Scale, Mirror objects in order to Copy the objects.
*
You can unselect objects if press <Shift> key when pick the objects.
*
You can press F7 to switch visibility of coordinate grid. If the grid is too dense for current resolution, it will not be shown.
You can press F9 to switch cursor snap to coordinate grid nodes. The snap work even the grid is not visible.

You can press <Ctrl>+T to switch "Display lineweights" mode
*
You can press <Ctrl>+R to switch visibility of raster and vector objects
*
Precede coordinate with the @ symbol to define the position of a point in relation to the previous point. For example: @5,3 
*
To enter a polar coordinate, enter a distance and an angle, separated by an angle bracket (<). For example, to specify a point at a distance of 1 unit from the previous point and at an angle of 45 degrees, enter @1<45.

In VeCAD, angles increase in the counterclockwise and decrease in the clockwise direction. 
*
When draw or edit objects, instead of specifying coordinate by cursor, you can enter the coordinate in the command prompt window.

When draw polyline, click right mouse button and select option from popup menu.
*
During executing any command the status bar shows text prompt to help you what to do by next mouse click.

In order to insert / delete / edit polyline vertices: select polyline, then posit cursor on vertex grip, click right mouse button and select desired command from popup menu.

When drawing has selected entities you can view each selected entity in turn by pressing F3
*
If you want to put in a text some character that can't be entered from keyboard, use "\U+" combination and the character's code in Unicode.
For example, the string "Omega \U+2126" will be written in a drawing as "Omega" and next Omega character.
Note: The character must exist in the font. You can open the "Istalled VeCAD Fonts" dialog to see enabled characters and their codes.
