What is it?
Real 10k Dice is a dice game for 1 to 4 players using six dice
and is NOTHING LIKE YAHTZEE. I learned it as a kid and have
seen several versions out there but none with the rules I grew
up with. It is pretty easy to learn and very addictive.

Disclaimer:
Real 10k Dice is offered as postcard-ware (freeware). If you
like the game please send me a postcard. WebWord Designs
assumes no responsibility for any problems with your system
resulting from the use of this program (although it is very
kind to Windows since it was compiled in Visual Basic 6).

Installing the game:
Two installations versions exist;
1. Full install (real10kf.zip) includes all the VB6 system
runtime files needed to run the game.
2. Game only install (real10k.zip) has all the needed game files
and no runtime files. Many computers already have these
runtime files and do not need to install another set.
3. Unzip all files into a temporary folder then run the setup
file. Follow the prompts to install into the desired location.
After installation finishes, find the program group created
on the start menu and click the shortcut to play.

Object of game:
Get 10,000 points or more and have a higher score then other
players to win.

Scoring points (per roll):

6 ones . . . . . . . . . 2500
Straight. . . . . . . . . 1500
6 any die (3 pairs) . . . 1250
3 pairs . . . . . . . . . 1250
3 ones . . . . . . . . . 1000
3 any die . . . . . . . . 100x face of die
4 any die . . . . . . . . 100x face of die +100
5 any die . . . . . . . . 100x face of die +200
Ones . . . . . . . . . . 100
Fives . . . . . . . . . . 50

Once you have 3 of a kind on the current six die set,
You can add single die of the same face value on subsequent rolls
for 100 pints each until all six die are used. Once six die are
used they will reset and a new set of three must be established
to add to.

How to play:
1. Select "New Game" from the file menu.
2. Select number of players, input names, then click "Okay."
3. Player 1 starts the game. You must have at least 750 points
for your first score to begin. After the first 750 points,
you may keep any legal amount and end your turn.
4. Each player may roll as long as desired or until busted. If
all six dice are used they will be reset and the player may
continue the current turn or end the current turn adding the
total score for this turn to the player's game total.
5. If the current player is busted (no legal score from current
roll), all points for the current turn are lost, dice are
reset, and play resumes with the next player. The player's
   game point total remains.
6. Once a player reaches 10,000 points or more, all other players
are allowed one more turn. Keep this in mind when you are
about to go out when scores are close.
7. If the winner has a higher score then any on the High Scores
List, that player's name, score, and the date will be inserted
into that slot and drop all high scores below one slot down.

Future Version plans:

1. Add animated dice for rolling.
2. Add sound for dice rolls and events.
3. Animated winners screen when high score is achieved.
4. Computer player
