Using the Page Log

PcGuard keeps a Log of all pages viewed while the program is running. To Access this log you must be a password holder. Use your password to open the program for setup and press the Tab that says "View Page Log". Press the button labeled View the Page Log.

Each entry in the log begins with the date and time the page was viewed. Following this is the Title of the page. You can determine the amount of time the page was viewed by comparing the start time of a page to the start time of the following page.

If an attempt is made to access a page that contains any of the keywords and phrases in use by the program, you will see that the page is followed by a date and time (with no title) immediately following the aborted page. The page with no title is the DeskTop.

Use this log to determine how effective your choice of keywords are. If the log shows a page that you do not want accessed then select a keyword or phrase from that page title and add them to your keyword list.

Use the select and delete features as needed to keep the file from getting excessively long.
