Make the Program Secure
Older children may have enough computer knowledge to figure a way to bypass or shut this program down. This program is capable of defending itself against these attempts. Keywords and phrases have already been added to the keyword list to help prevent this possibility. Close the PcGuardian program and follow these instructions to complete the security setup.
Use Windows Explorer to find the folder C:\program files\PcGuard. When you have found it, Right click the folder. A pop up menu will show. Click on properties and check the [hidden] attribute block in the properties menu box. Click on [Apply] and then [OK]. This will hide the folder to make it difficult to delete the files. Press Start and find PcGuard in the programs list. Right click on the title and use the previous procedure to hide them.
Go to the Menu Bar across the top of Windows Explorer and Select "View". Select "Folder Options" from the drop down list. Select the Tab labeled "View". Check to be sure that "Hidden Files" is set to not display hidden or System files. Enter the keywords add/remove to prevent removal of the program. ***** After you have done this then re-open PcGuard.
Users without a password will not be able to access "Folder Options" to show the hidden files.
