I've seen setups for scores of over 2000 -

I've seen setups for scores of over 2000 with either OXYPHENBUTAZONE or DEHYDROFREEZING over three triple word scores.

A (now old) Scrabble book in my possession records the highest turn score in tournament play as CAZIQUES over two triple word scores - this would score 392. https://wordmaker.info/how-many/scrabble.html

Micro Scrabble -

I prefer to play with someone who KNOWS HOW TO SPELL. There is nothing more frustrating when playing with someone who constantly puts down words like thier and vacume (I have had BOTH tried against me in games before).

My dad was the worse, because his spelling was atrocious. He actually believed (I know because I saw it once on an official report he was handing in as a plumbing inspector) that the word “was” was spelled “WUZ”.

If you don’t have a “kick-ass” vocabulary, that is fine but at least learn to spell the words you do use. I don’t expect many players to use some of my favorite words: Scrabble
