1. Press the pliers button and select Multiple Files. As a security aid batch processing of multiple protected files is not allowed nor supported by this program.

As you might already know, many Windows programs can be associated with
their data file by the means of an Icon. Crunch Machine crunched files are identified by it extension, .isf, and also can be visually identified by it icon. However, you can prevent this, in case you want them to appear as miscellaneous data and share the default Windows assigned icon for unknown data. This prevents for easily discovering that those are data files used by a specific application. To bypass the default setting which shows the icon, press the pliers button and uncheck the option Register Icon located under the File Associations menu. This is a local setting. This means that if you move or send those crunched files to a computer where Crunch Machine is not installed, the icon shown will be the default Windows assigned icon for unknown files. Additionally you can allow or avoid Windows to knowing what application to launch when some one double clicks on a crunched file and also enable or disable the Open with Crunch Machine option which appears when you right click the mouse button over a crunched file on Windows Explorer. To enable or disable this option click on the pliers button and select or deselect Context Menu option located under File Associations. To make Register Icon and File Association changes active, restarting
the computer is required for some Windows versions. If changes are not automatically updated by your Windows model,
they will the next time you turn the computer on. If you ever need to open this help from Crunch Machine interface, place the mouse over Crunch Machine legend. Note the question mark appearing next to the arrow. Click and select Help contents from the menu.
