I read the books of Brooks and got enthousiastic to try the shannara game, but it keeps aborting because something is missing

Hmm, this one is a toughie. Im sure your all expecting me to go check out dosgamezone.com/shannara but its 180Mb and my ISP has started really bitching about the bandwith DGZ is consuming, not to mention the servers hard disc is pretty much dead .

There is a unique funding system on the way....my lips are sealed for now. But this doesn't mean downloading games from dgz is gonna cost any money.

But yes i do have shannara and you can get it here

Any new games over 50Mb will only be available from a free ad-supported server (not ours).

There will be an option to get a 'gold' account that will give direct FAST downloads on our own servers.

Run the setup.bat file before you try playing it or it won't work right because it has files that it has to extract and setup before it will play.
