Oscarchips 31 | Posted - Saturday, 3rd March 2007 - 17:52 For some reason when I try running the Realms.bat file it goes to the screen where you'll see the name of the company that made it and then the heading of Hybrid on the top and when I wait for a while for it to goto the next screen and it doesn't then I tried pushing buttons such as the enter key and that didn't work and I pressed the escape key and that work but it exited out of the game and I really want to play this game for my self. Could anyone please help me with this. (THIS SUCKS ASS!) |

Torquemurder 10 | Posted - Sunday, 4th March 2007 - 15:16 I played this through to the end in DOSBox a while ago and didn't have any trouble. Is this the full 4-CD version or some kind of a rip? |
Zeon566 547 | Posted - Sunday, 4th March 2007 - 18:07 Its the rip version I guess but it just seems to have problems getting to the next screen and I'm using Dosbox myself and I don't seem to know what could be the problem. |
Torquemurder 10 | Posted - Sunday, 4th March 2007 - 21:55 I'd try fiddling with the sound card settings. It worked best for me with straight soundblaster emulation. On a semi-related note, I wouldn't waste my time with a CD-rip of this game. Virtually all the plot elements are advanced with cut scenes, many of which require you to make choices in the middle of them. I suppose that it's possible to complete the game without them, but you'll be missing an awful lot. |
Zeon566 547 | Posted - Monday, 5th March 2007 - 03:53 Do you know of any websites where I can download the full 4-CD version without having to buy the game anywhere, because I downloaded it (rip version) from fileherd.com through this website which thats why I'm asking this question. |
Torquemurder 10 | Posted - Monday, 5th March 2007 - 04:25 Not that I know of. It would be pretty darn big, so I doubt any of the usual abandonware sites would carry it. What's the max upload size that this site will handle? |
CyberAxe 887 | Posted - Tuesday, 6th March 2007 - 19:44 The biggest game online i think is theme hospital at 200mb. I'll add files upto 700mb max, but only ppl with more than 10 community points will be able to download it, I have to guarantee some ad revenue to cover costs. Max filesize to the ftp is about 1gb, but you can upload multiple files |
Zeon566 547 | Posted - Thursday, 8th March 2007 - 23:07 Holy crap theme hospital was a 200mb for an upload man thats alot for an old game. The only Theme game that I have is Theme Park. (I REMEMBER THAT GAME THAT ONE WAS FUNNY ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SCREWED AROUND WITH THE CAFFINE AND MADE VISITORS HYPER AND RUN AROUND THE SCREEN LIKE THE FLASH OR WHEN YOU MAKE THE SPEED OF THE RIDES GO SO FAST THAT THE PEOPLE WOULD FLY OFF IT MADE ME LAUGH ALOT!) |
