Hi! I am new, and I need help! I just downloaded theme hospital, cos' my original cd is damaged, but found that the game I downloaded keep saying need the cd rom to play game when I start it, tried to copy all into a cd, and started it, but still same thing happened. Anyone good samaritans out there who can help me with this, cos' I lost.

Hi im pretty certain the hospital folder can be copied from the cd to a folder you want to run the game from.
Also, im pretty sure that if you modify or delete the .ini file, the problem corrects itself, I remember this problem bugging me for some time.
Googling "theme hospital no cd patch" might yield more help.

Cannot copy from the cd anymore, in fact the original cd is already unreadable. Tried looking for the .ini file you mentioned, but not found in the files downloaded.


The no cd patches also does not work! But I'll keep searching for others, if any. But thanks anyway martin. Maybe I just don't know how to do it properly.!!?? Hmmm....

Try downloading a program like poweriso or daemon tools, that will create a 'virtual' cd drive on your computer.
Then with the theme hospital download on this website, 'mount' the image of the disc instead of burning it to cd.
That may be one workaround, instead of needing the cd, you just launch the virtual cd drive.

I'm not sure where you can download this game at, but I do remember playing a NBA game for DOS.


MAN I CAN'T SEEM TO REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE NBA GAME THAT I HAD, BECAUSE I DO REMEMBER PLAYING IT BEFORE AND IT COOL INTRO MUSIC TO GO WITH IT!!!!!!
