paco86 2 | Posted - Sunday, 29th June 2008 - 06:36 Hi all, I'm new to this site and to the message board and am hoping someone can help me. I apologise if this topic is in the wrong section. I'm looking for an old game, I assume from dos, that I played 5 or 6 years ago, but I know for sure that it must be older. I think I can describe the gameplay well enough for anyone who has played it to be able to recognise the game... hopefully! It is a puzzle game. You are a yellow tractor and the entire screen is divided into hundreds of little squares but they were not separated by lines or anything. Each square is either filled with the colour black (ie. nothing), brown (ie. dirt), a boulder, or (I think) a gem. Your job as the tractor is to navigate through all of the boulders and, from square to square removing dirt in order to collect all of the gems, and avoid the falling boulders and gems that happen as a result of your movements. As you push a boulder or remove a clump of dirt, it can force another one to fall, then another and another, forcing a chain reaction that causes a whole bunch of things to fall and/or stack on one another. So it's like a big maze but there is no one way to get through. I think there might also have been bombs around the screen as well that you also obviously had to avoid. And I think you win by collecting all gems and then reaching the home square. The game also had a function that allowed you to design your own level with all the objects so that you can then play it yourself or test others with. I hope I've described it well enough for people to be able to figure out the name of the game and hopefully point to me in the right direction to find it. I have been dying to play this game for so long. Thanks in advance for any help, Joe |
NetherFienD 4 | Posted - Saturday, 12th July 2008 - 06:21 Shyt, dunno what game you talking bout, but have a look at http://the-underdogs.info under the puzzle section. They should hav exactly what you looking for. If you browse through the games and move your cursor over the title of a game, a screenshot of the game will pop-up. That should help you find it. |
