snowman42 2 | Posted - Monday, 3rd December 2007 - 09:29 I have downloaded quite a few games from Dosgamer and it's awesome playing Bioforge again! Not sure if it is just me, but there are a few games I can't download. Little Big adventure, I only get 412KB, Destruction Derby dowloads the full 6.2MB, but it claims it is not a zip file or corrupted. Some of these games have been downloaded thousands of times and I do not see anyone else having this problem. Is it just me or might there be something wrong with the downloadable zip file/s? Any help would be appreciated.

Deathdealer9978 169 | Posted - Saturday, 10th November 2007 - 00:31 You can download Dungeon Keeper here: http://www.4shared.com/file/27359338/c2b46c7a/dungeonkeep.ht ml |
Deathdealer9978 169 | Posted - Saturday, 10th November 2007 - 00:42 To run the game without the cd just edit the keeper.cfg file. You should edit the install path line with the drive letter and directory that you put the game in and it should work. I have my copy installed to D:\Games\Dungeon so my keeper.cfg has the line install_path=d:\Games\Dungeon. Just change the install_path= to where it is installed and save it. After that the game should play. |

Deathdealer9978 169 | Posted - Sunday, 25th November 2007 - 06:02 Still having trouble running Dungeon Keeper? What happens when you run the game? Are there any error messages. |
Untamed 21 | Posted - Sunday, 25th November 2007 - 20:07 it opens in full screen, turns into a black square on the top left hand corner of the screen and idles until you close it |
Deathdealer9978 169 | Posted - Tuesday, 27th November 2007 - 02:17 It may be a conflict with your video card. If you have a 3d accelerator on your video card try going into the D3D-3DFX Fix folder in the Dungeon Keeper directory and run the setup program. This will create a new keeperd3d.exe file to run the game from. |
Deathdealer9978 169 | Posted - Monday, 3rd December 2007 - 16:59 I've had similar problems with a few of the downloads including Destruction Derby. I have a good copy of Destruction Derby stored on 4shared.com that you can download here: http://www.4shared.com/file/24147267/8f210a8c/Destruction_De rby.html |

[/QUOTE]Both the Strife and Shannara downloads have problems. The Strife.zip file won't open and says that it is corrupted. With Shannara the Shannara.zip file itself is ok but the vocs.zip file inside of it is corrupted and the setup.bat file can't extract and convert the sound files in it. |
