I don't have a linux idea, but I'm slowly learning. I haven't used anything with unix or linux since my programming classes in college... For some reason I can't get anything to install and run correctly, but it appears that I'm missing crucial compilers. Does everything you download for linux come as uncompiled source code or something? This is all confusing for someone who's had a windows crutch for too long...but my roommate's computer gets me by game-wise for the most part...

I think almost every dos game you gota pick up ice cream and candy lol

And welcome to DOS Gamer, it's a damn good site, glad I stumbled on it! Anyway, If it helps, the German Title is "DER REEDER". I found a couple of pages with info. Moby Games Ocean Empire I haven't played the game so I'm not familiar with it, but is there not a language selection option in the game?
