SupaDufa 4 | Posted - Tuesday, 22nd January 2008 - 19:32 Hmm... I've just noticed that the lock was on too. And adult mode DOES make duke nukem...DUKE NUKEM. If you can find the install.exe file for it then you can rewrite the password. With out adult mode it's like everythings been turned down. It went from R rated to E rated. I'd rather be playing doom or something. Edit- Okay, I just found out how to do it. First get the other Duke Nukem 3d (regular) game off of this site and put it on your computer. After all that installing run the game (regular 3d not AE) go back to the AE game with all it's contents and find the .cfg file of the AE version. Copy that and go to the regular 3d version and replace the one in the regular version with the AE version. Okay now run the Duke Nukem (regular) game and turn ON the adult mode. Okay now, exit the game and go back and put the file back in the AE version. Run the AE version now and check the options, then parental lock...see how the adult mode is on? Now you can play it in adult mode! Have fun! |
NuclearWinter 241 | Posted - Tuesday, 4th March 2008 - 10:49 hey SupaDufa all you have to do is to download the game somewhere else like here http://retrogames.intranet.hu/ it's in a different language |
Max_Payne 48 | Posted - Saturday, 8th March 2008 - 23:07 instead of doing what SupaDufa said there is an easier way to get or change the parental lock password: in the game directory open the file called duke3d.cfg then scroll down until you fing the line that says "Password = (whatever password is)" and there you go. |
